GWYNN
Here I am at RT in Kansas City in October 03. I'm thinner now so will have to have a new formal for the next one <bg>. I'm looking at some gowns in a catalog that specializes in New Age things and positively drooling over the gorgeous possibilities!

This is my little truck which I have christened "Red Hot Mama." There is a private joke behind that name, but it's all in good clean fun. I never cared for red vehicles but got a good deal on this one and have made the shade a matter of pride! And perhaps it is appropriate for a romance writer?!

This is a favorite picture of Alanna, the Wolf-Chow who owned our family for thirteen years, 1977-1990. She was the smartest and best dog I ever knew. I'm sure she will be the alpha female of my pack when I rejoin them across the rainbow bridge. She tried to talk for twelve years and knew more words than a lot of four year old children!

I always liked Australian Shepherds and lucked onto Rico due to his going AWOL on a prior owner. Because I had him neutered she did not want him back. He's purebred though and a bundle of energy. He leads Sadie and me a merry chase!

I will remember little Butch this way, my favorite picture of him. He went across the bridge with Jim on November 10, 2003. He was no genius but just a sweet loving dog that I will never forget.
He was Brittany Spaniel and perhaps some kind of setter.

Sadie was Jim's dog and Butch's companion. She is aging now but still sweet and loveable, playing the canine matriarch. I've made her a ramp to get into my pickup and now she's happy to ride again. It was a struggle for her to get in. She's Lab and maybe Irish Setter.

Here I am in Reno at the 2002 Romantic Times Conference with
my dear friend Melinda Rucker Haynes, a fellow author who also
has roots in Arizona. We had a good visit and a fun time! This
was the day of the big book fair and we'd just finished setting
up our areas.

This little guy is a Clark's Spiny Lizard. Mature males can
go up to 8-10 inches long from nose to tail and flash the blue
throat patch in courting and territorial displays. We have a colony
of them living in the cement pillars that support the wooden fence
around our yard. The Geckoes I use as my logo actually represent
these fascinating little creatures.
